Sending Stuff Back

Under current UK legislation, there are certain rules that I, as a business, have to follow in regards to returns.

 

WHAT TO DO WHEN A PRODUCT FAILS

I do my best to ensure all my cables and modifications last a long time, and will serve you for many years to come. However, if a product arrives faulty just let me know, and I'll either repair it free of charge - I'll cover postage costs for this - or I'll offer a full refund for the product when it has been returned to me.

However, I must be made aware of any issues within 14 days of receipt of the goods. I will still repair any items outside of this period, but the buyer must cover all associated shipping costs.

I offer a 12 month guarantee on all my cables, and will honour repairs on my work unless they show obvious signs of abuse (eg broken jacks or torn cables).

WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU DON'T LIKE A PRODUCT

As all of my cables are made-to-order, I generally cannot accept returns on functional goods, though it will vary per-cable. If you want to know if your order can be returned, just ask via one of my communication platforms. I may be willing to offer a partial refund on returned goods, based on the material and shipping costs of the product.

Contact must be made within 14 days of receipt of the item.

TERMS OF WARRANTY

In The Event of Failure

Has something broken? Arrived damaged, or just worn down over time? We can do something about that.

 

WHAT TO DO WHEN A PRODUCT ARRIVES DAMAGED

If a product arrives damaged, and you notify me within 14 days of receipt, I will cover all postage costs and I will repair, replace, or refund the cost of the item in question.

Outside of this period, you will be subject to normal warranty terms.

WHAT TO DO IF A PRODUCT FAILS AFTER 14 DAYS

If a product fails after 14 days, I'm happy to repair the item (or offer a refund/replacement, if applicable) though the buyer must pay for shipping costs.

Note that for a product failure to be accepted under warranty terms, the item must be free of obvious damage such as broken or bent pins/connectors, and the cores of the cable must be intact. Any nicks, nibbles, frays, breaks, or disturbances to the cable beside normal use may void your warranty.

I am willing to repair nlovell audio products that are outside of warranty at a discounted rate to my typical "cable repair" scheme pricing.

CANCELLATION POLICY

In The Event Of Unpurchasing

Have you changed your mind on an order? Found a better price elsewhere? No longer want to wait for your item? That's what this policy is for.

LOCK-IN PERIOD

To prevent people backing out of orders, I have a "lock-in" period - equivalent to 5 weeks, plus one week per additional cable in the order. For example, ordering two cables makes this lock-in period 6 weeks.

CANCELLATION DURING LOCK-IN PERIOD

If you want to cancel an order during the lock-in period, I'm happy to refund you however there will be a fee of £5 per cable in cancelled order.

CANCELLATION OUTSIDE LOCK-IN PERIOD

As I'm only one person, sometimes it takes me a while to make things. If you decide that you'd no longer like your order after the lock-in period has expired, I'm happy to refund the full cost of your order.

OFFERED CANCELLATIONS

If I offer to cancel your order for you due to, for example, unexpected delays in delivery, the fees associated with the lock-in period will not apply.

 

WARRANTY LENGTHS

I guarantee repairs and returns on all my items and services - some items have different lengths to others, and all will be listed here.
